Poleng Lounge offers a wide variety of more than 30 loose-leaf teas with an emphasis on rare blends of flavor, ranging from subtly sweet to flowery fragrant. Those new to the loose-leaf experience and even well traveled connoisseurs are invited to smell each blend before placing an order. A server delivers tea selections with an hourglass timer to ensure ideal steeping time for each unique blend.

TEA
Black Teas
Black Tea originated in China where it is referred to as “Hong Cha” or Red Tea due to the reddish color. Black teas are high in caffeine (but less than coffee) and go well with foods that are rich, spicy and full of flavor.

ROOIBOS TEAS
Popular in South Africa for generations, rooibos is now consumed in many countries. Rooibos teas are not derived from Camellia sinensis and thus have no caffeine and can be re-steeped a multitude of times and will not get bitter. Plus they area rich source of antioxidants.
